A pocket listing is a real estate industry term for a property that is not on the market or in the MLS system. It could either mean that it will be coming on the market in the future or that the seller does not want the property to be advertised through the MLS.

Many of which are sold as pocket listings before hitting the market.

How does this Benefit You?

If you are a buyer who has seen everything on the market and can’t seem to find what you are looking for, you can be privy, and first in line, to the pocket listings in my database before they become available to the general public. This gives you a huge leg up in your search, offering opportunities that other buyers never know about.

If you are a seller, this innovative system can be an incredible benefit. Many sellers sell their property before hitting the market. Not only does this mean that you don’t have to go through the typical on-the-market selling process with showings, open houses and keeping your property pristine at all times, but it also gives you the opportunity to sell for a higher price than it may sell for if on the market. If a buyer really wants your property and doesn’t want to be subject to extensive competition if it goes on the market, they are typically willing to pay a premium.
